I have more than 10 years of experience working with children and families. When your child is struggling with reading or spelling, it might be hard to know what to focus on or what you should do. How do you help them? Should you be the one to teach them? Do they need a tutor? Is what the school doing going to be enough? What if you homeschool? Should you purchase a program? There is a lot of conflicting information out there. There are a lot of programs, books, resources, and websites. You may get one set of information from your child’s teacher and another from Youtube and a third from your neighbour.
